The Durham MLK Holiday National Invitational is a basketball tournament featuring elite high school programs from around the country. Sponsored by Duke Health and Durham Sports Commission, proceeds from the tournament are donated to find a cure for cancer. Proceeds will be going to Duke Cancer Research as well as social programs to help patients and their families during treatment (gas money, hotels etc). A portion of the proceeds will also go to Be The Match to promote finding bone marrow donors for transplants.
